Up for auction is this FABULOUS FIND-- THE MAJORS-"MEET THE MAJORS"---1ST ALBUM...STILL SEALED!!!
What a wonderful find!!
Perfect for the Collector---
Album is in EXCELLENT condition. Still in original shrink wrap, so vinyl should be EXCELLENT.
Record was produced Imperial Records -LP-9222. Imperial High Fidelity. Thick cardboard album cover, laminated cover. 1960's not dated, but appears to be early 60's.
Great for framing!!!!!
Songs include: Side 1: A Wonderful Dream, Ooh Wee Baby, Time Will Tell, Tra La La, Twist and Shout & A Little Bit Now ( A Little Bit Later). Side 2: She's a Troublemaker, Don't Lose your Cool, I Wonder Who's Dancing With Her Now, What in the World, Come on Come On, & Anything You Can Do.
The Majors consist of : Ricky Cordo (lead singer), Ronald Gathers, Eugene Glass, Frank Trout, and Idella Morris ( the only female in the group)
After many top chart singles including A Wonderful Dream, Imperial Records had a hard time keeping their music on the shelves. The is the FIRST ALBUM they recorded.
Definitely a keeper!!
