PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. You want heavy? This Lp will give you heavy... overloaded in dirty distortion guitar, raw rhythms and pounding drums, the fundamentally tight unit plays a wicked-cool acid blues rock sound that few fans of the style can deny. The Blues Creation attained a popular following that grew, releasing other albums ("Demon & Eleven Children" - etc.) but clearly none as devestatingly raw & heavy as this impossibly-rare first LP.
To give an idea of rarity and value standards, the Lp turns up about as much as the second Speed Glue & Shinki double set and the only known copy for sale is currently over on Discogs with a $2,39.10 price tag located at a vinyl rarities store - in Japan.
Out of the ashes of the forerunner BICKKIES, mainman Kazuo Takeda(g) formed at the end of the 60's BLUES CREATION, together with Fumio Nunoya(vo), Takayuki Noji (b) and Shinichi Tashiro (ds). Unknown to most collectors who think their 1971 "DEmon And Eleven Children" is their first LP, 69's self titled "Blues Creation", contains conversions of CREAM, YARDBIRDS, styles and make them their own. "Power-house Blues" basically sums up the entire two sides, contains the sound equal and better to highest rated LP collectibles. When first released in '69 the members were still High School students. So after the collapse of an underground rock band, "The Bickies", guitarist / vocalist Kazuo Takeda decided to form a rock band of a different direction. Keen on the creativity of "Cream" and "Yardbirds", the musician attracted school friends and the new band Blues Creation included vocalist Fumio Fuya (ex-Taboo), bass player Yoshiyuki Noji and drummer Shinichi Tashiro. With the support of catching the ears of major label "Polydor", the young students recorded a selection of eight devastating blues jams played with a very heavy-rock edge. Most of the compositions belonged to the black masters of the American scene (Sonny Boy Williamson, Memphis Slim, Chester Burnett, Blind Willie Johnson, Willie Dixon, Otis Rush), and only the number "Double Crossing Time" was of European and white origin in the face of the tandem John Mayall & Eric Clapton.
