MEGA-RARE ORIGINAL UK LP - Nick Drake "Bryter Layter"(Pink Rim Island ILPS 9134) STEREO. Released in 1970, this was Nick Drake's second album release for Island, and many say, his best!! Tracks include "At The Chime Of A City Clock", "Hazey Jane", "Northern Sky" etc etc. This is a GENUINE ORIGINAL UK 1st Pressing of this INCREDIBLY RARE LP, with textured sleeve and the pink rim Island label. The vinyl is visibly in VG+ CONDITION, but I've played the album through, and there is hardly any background sound from the surface marks, his songs sounding beautiful and clear - honest!! The sleeve has ringwear and handling signs, very difficult to avoid with the textured material, I' m afraid.The album comes complete with the original light-blue Island inner sleeve. Overall, not a bad copy of a VERY RARE ITEM!! Please remember, this IS a GENUINE ORIGINAL 1st PRESS COPY!!
