Description

  • Rocket Records 101, this is an original US pressing - NOT a reissue - of the hard to find Mel McGonnigle 45 featuring "Rattle Shakin' Mama" b/w "Cheryl Baby". Great A side rocker backed with a B side ballad. 7" single comes with stock brown sleeve, which is in nice condition, although 45  is actually kept in a new polylined sleeve to preserve condition. Vinyl is a shiny and clean EX-/VG++ (excellent), showing some minor paper/surface marks. Playback is solid throughout, while labels are crisp with no spindle wear. Trail off is clearly etched 45-101-A on side 1, and 45-101-B on side 2; there is no "Repro" notation in the dead wax. Only original of this one I have ever come across! NOTE: US Postal rates have increased as of January 27th. Buyers now pay $4.00 media shipping in the US, $14.00 first class mail overseas.
