Most people consider this much better than Gluey Porch Treatments. Many even
consider it among the best Melvins albums. What the heck are those guys thinking?
I just can't agree with that! I can't get behind that opinion, no way!

Ozma is similar to Gluey Porch Treatments, but the songwriting is a lot more focused
this time. While that does make the album easier to get into, it makes it weaker too.
It's a lot more convential - not nearly as unique. Too many of the riffs are just weak
attempts at Sabbath riffs. A lot of the songs just sort of plod along without really going
anywhere (true, that sort of goes for Gluey Porch Treatments too, but it was heavier and
didn't contain a single weak riff).

It's still a damn good album though. And it's much closer to what they usually do.
Also, check out that awesome Kiss cover! Strangely enough, the Melvins' cover of
"Love Theme From Kiss" (here entitled "Love Thang") is actually prettier and more
harmonic than the original.

        collectible.
VG++ = played often with moderate surface wear and some moderate noise, still plays well…
        sleeve may have medium overall wear or some ring wear.
VG+ = overall wear, but no skips of serious defects, more noisy sound during quiet passages…
        sleeve is well worn, usually with considerable ring wear.
VG = plays a lot, heavy wear on record and cover…guarantee does not apply to vg- or worse
        condition records.
