Yet another DTD sales extravaganza - the home of the "rare good deal". On today's docket is a rare piece from my personal treasure trove - an original pressing (way back in 1994) of the awesome Stoner Witch from the Melvins. This is the first US pressing, pressed on some pretty cool PINK vinyl. The LP is in excellent shape - plays like a champ and looks like one too - no scratches, a few lighter scuffs that don't impact play. The cover was outside of a plastic sleeve for many years by mistake so there is some bin wear noticeable - especially apparent on the back with some ring wear too. The inside of the gatefold has much less wear. I consider this one of their very best releases - among the massive amount of material they have blessed us with over the many years. Vinyl Condition: EX (glossy & clean, no major scratches,scuffs or marks, looks great & plays well too - a few lighter scuffs)
Cover Condition: VG+ (good looking gatefold cover with some apparent bin/ring wear - most noticeable on the back, all seams are intact)
Notes: Original US Pressing (1994) on vibrant PINK vinyl. (Not the current 180gm reissue - this is the genuine McCoy).
Vinyl Grading Guide:
M/NM: I only use these grades for sealed records (M) or records that are opened but have never been played (NM).
Ex: May have some very light scuffing from taking the record in and out of the paper inner. Should play with very little to no background noise.
VG+: May have some light scuffing from taking the record in and out of the paper inner. May have some inaudible marks or hairline scratches. May play with minor surface noise/crackle that should only really be noticeable at the most quiet parts of the record.
VG: May have some more intense scuffing and hairline scratches. May also have some deeper scratches that can be felt and may cause popping and/or clicking, but shouldn’t skip. Plays with surface noise that is pronounced and noticeable but doesn’t ruin the listening experience. You can still listen to it and enjoy it, but it is both visually and audibly most definitely used.
Good/Fair/Poor: I won’t sell anything with these grades unless they have high collectable value.
