Grade: EXCELLENT [VJM equivalent E++] 
Description: Rare antique 12" shellac/78 rpm in superb condition. The Unknown Warrior (or Unknown Soldier) was an unidentified member of the British Imperial forces who died on the Western Front during the 
First World War. He was given a state funeral and buried on 11 November 1920 at Westminster Abbey, while simultaneously in France the burial of a French unknown soldier took place at the Arc de Triomphe, making both graves the first examples of a "tomb of the unknown soldier", and the first to honour the unknown dead of the First World War. Over a million people visited his tomb in the first week, and the "Tomb of the Unknown Warrior" as it's now called still attracts many visitors today.
This record is 30.5 cm in diameter as opposed to the usual 30 cm for 12" shellac, hence it doesn't fit in any standard 12" sleeve. It comes in a plastic sleeve.
