Outstanding, modern soul and mini masterpiece with a sophisticated funk backing. Everything about "Inside My Love" oozes class, from the tinkering piano motifs / the emotional lead vocals and soaring female backing harmony to the spaced-out synth behind those killer bass and drum patterns. Slick tempo changes too. The flipside, is a feelgood, boogie funk jam with joyous vocals and heavy slap bassline. Next level production by Roger Green. The band would appear to be Home Grown Funk (aka Memphis) ft. Jerry Jones (with insane soundclip to be found, so check it ;) This is a 4 figure item and our copy comes from the archive of an important record label who had offices in Milan, hence the archive number to one side of label.
Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG
RECORD - shiny, strong VG++ (closer to M-) regardless of some light background static in a few places (as you can hear) which we have been told is a common pressing issue / a few faint scuffs and hairlines from storage (pretty much old deadstock looking, in general)
SLEEVE - not graded - generic white card sleeve / item from the archive of an important record label who had offices in Milan
LABEL - small 'x' notation to one side / a few faint dirt marks from storage
After a 2 year gap, Pourquoi Moi Vintage is back :)

Mp3 created via a vestax portable and basic audacity software but records always sound much better on a proper hi-fi system ;)
