MEMPHIS SLIM & WILLIE DIXON LP THE BLUES EVERY WHICH WAY
Verve V-3007 Mono still in shrink wrap. BB hole cut-out in corner.
First pressing from 1961.

This record has been meticulously cared for. The owner stored the disc in a protective plastic sleeve immediately after purchase. Willie sings some of the songs, Memphis Slim sings others.
Extensive liner notes by civil libertarian Nat Hentoff.
We like their version of Avery Parrish's "After Hours."
Memphis Slim on piano, the great Chess Records bassist
& songwriter Willie Dixon on bass.

Original mono pressing from Silver-on-black Verve label& thick dark cardboard. Includes original printed Vanguard-logo paper inner sleeve. Eye-catching cover was designed by Joe Cardelio.

DISC - NM

We give great importance to grading our items accurately. No warping, scratches, skips, visible needle wear, scuffs, streaking, residue, abrasions or other blemishes on playing surface or dead wax. No evidence that the record has ever been played. Disc surface shows very nice gloss. Listener is unlikely to encounter anything but the faintest purr of background surface noise. I believe the listener will find this artifact very easy to enjoy. Matrix # MGV-51033 NY.

 COVER - NM:

Shrink wrap is intact. Quarter-inch cut-out bb hole in bottom left corner is sharp cut with no dog-ear scuffs. Virtually no corner banging. Very mild ring wear! Deep rich, unfaded sharp clear color on a nice rich gloss. Itty bitty faint 2 inch half-crease off the c/o hole. Virtually no rubbing. No seam splitting. No scuffs, tears, marks, cuts, writing or other blemishes. Spine looks great. Cut-out hole does not go thru the wrap, so I assume the item was returned to wholesaler with price tags but still new unplayed. Then the distributor removed wrap, punched a hole, and reshrink the LP. We've added a plastic inner sleeve to store the platter. Label looks really great: No writing, stickers or other major blemishes. Full black color & sharp-cut hole with one faint spindle scuff on each side. Print is sharp.
