Peter Maag conducts the London Symphony Orchestra with sopranos Jennifer Vyvyan and Marion Lowe for this recording of A Midsummer Night's Dream by Mendelssohn. Limited edition of only 2500 worldwide. Two 180 gram Vinyl 45 RPM discs housed in a deluxe double gatefold laminated jacket.
Vinyl was mastered by Bernie Grundman from the Original Analog Master Tapes and pressed at RTI.
Reissue of the fabulous 1959 Decca Recording: SXL 2060, Released In The US On London CS 6001... a "London Blueback."
