"Menlove Ave." is a collection of various song attempts plus outtakes of recording sessions that eventually became the albums, "Mind Games", "Walls & Bridges" and "Rock 'n' Roll."
John Winston Ono Lennon (his real and full name) grew up in a house on Menlove Avenue, and named this album after the street where he grew up.
This album is a must for LP Cover ART collectors as it's dynamite artwork of John on the front and back covers was done by his artist friend, Andy Warhol! Not only did Andy Warhol create the cover but John Lennon and Phil Spector worked together to write and arrange a couple of the songs they sang together on this album.
Menlove Ave was released Oct. 27, 1986 in the US and Nov. 3, 1986 in the UK.
The vinyl is shiny with no visible defects and is the original 1986 pressing.
The cover has light ring wear. The spine and corners are strong and firm.
