Please note:
In the year 1929, when the young Menuhin became a famous violinist, he travelled with his family, a cook and a house keeper to Europe and to this town here - Basel, Switzerland. Basel has always been a city of culture and music. Therefore during the 2nd World War many artists moved to Switzerland.
Adolf Busch lived in Riehen, a small town near to Basel and to the german frontier. He became Menuhins his musical teacher.
Georges Enesco, the Roumanian violinist, owned a house in Basel. Menuhin lived a lot in Basel, to visit Busch and Enesco who influenced his musical career.

Mint: A brand new, SEALED record, never played NM: Near mint, an unsealed record that looks as good as new EX : Excellent, very minor surface marks, not audible on play VG+ : light surface marks, mild surface noice, few sporadic tics up and there, but should sound fine overall VG : more consistent noice or defects, or light scratches, no skip Good : Noisy, but plays through. I will only sell rare or unusual items in this condition

NM : close to new EX: well preserved, minimal wear VG+ : well preserved cover, but sign of wear VG : more pronounced defects, discoloration, slight delamination, writing
