Description
This is a fine copy from a 1988 U.K. reissue of the rare debut solo LP by Merrell Fankhauser, originally released in 1976. SoCal transplant Fankhauser had had a long, varied musical career by the time he recorded this album: from the surf/rock of the Impacts and the Exiles to the progressive pop/psych of Fapardokly and the H.M.S. Bounty to the blues-inflected progressive rock of Mu. This predominantly acoustic solo LP is less adventurous than his work with Mu, recalling his more melody-based '60s work. This release is the first to reissue the LP in any format. The jacket is close to pristine with some light creasing (M-). The disc is clean with some light scraping and scuffing, and plays with occasional light surface noise -- EX(+).
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
