Original UK-pressing from 1970 on A&M/ODE 70,AMLS 995.M.Clayton sang the duet with Mick Jagger on the Rolling Stones original recording of “Gimme Shelter”,she also appears on the soundtrack to the “Performance”-movie ft.Mick Jagger as an actor.On this LP she’s in a much more soulful mood,beautiful arrangements by Gene Page,produced by Lou Adler and saxophone-player Curtis Amy(who was Clayton’s husband at that time).Nice and tight grooves throughout,killer sister-funk titletrack with great fuzz-guitar!

Condition:the record looks mint--,it plays in mint-/mint--.The laminated cover has intact seams/spine with just a hint of rub,the lower left corner has a bend,front and back show slight (ring-)wear,overall ex(-).

Grading:this used record has been cleaned on a prof. cleaning machine.After that I playgraded it on a Rega Planar 9 with a Rega Super Elys moving magnet system and I also visually graded the record under a strong light.I give you a detailed description of both gradings.Only an unplayed record is mint,the highest grading for a used record is mint-! My basic gradings are:mint-ex-vg.As a free service,cleaned records are stored in a brandnew deluxe innersleeve and the cover will be placed in a brandnew PVC protection-sleeve!
