Description

Once in a while a real rarity comes to light. This is it!!!! A track that was not deemed suitable for any of the Merseybeats' official Fontana releases. The label says “PRETTY WORDS”, but the song is really called “Things I Want To Hear” and it's a Shirelles original, which they put on the B-side of their Baby, It's You hit. Why it was never released is a mystery, the Merseybeats have turned it into a great track in their own inimitable style. We're talking about a 10” acetate, not the more regular 7” kind. The B-side features a song that did get official release status: Don't Let It Happen To Us. Considering that this is an acetate the condition is quite good. Don't let this get away!!
