This is a very rare first vinyl edition of the original Metal Massacre I compilation record from 1982.  It contains the extremely rare version of Metallica's Hit the Lights with Lloyd Grant playing lead guitar. This is the first known recording of Metallica.

Metallica is misspelled as "Mettallica" on this ten song version of the compilation.  This original edition pressing was very soon out of print, and Hit the Lights was replaced with a different version that was recorded with a different Metallica line up on subsequent releases of the Metal Massacre compilation.

THIS IS 100% ORIGINAL VINYL with BLACK LABEL
