This is the original 1988 US pressing of Metallica - "And Justice For All" 2-LP Promo label Elektra 60812 pressed on Audiophile vinyl.  Comes with the original inner sleeves and the numbered edition promo stamp on the back of the cover. 
 This is the highly sought after promotional release (listed as translucent brown vinyl on discogs), with a gold promo stamp on the back cover and 2 stickers applied directly to the front cover (these would usually have been on the shrink-wrap on the regular store bought release, but these promo copies did not come shrink-wrapped). 

OVERALL CONDITION: VG
SIDE 1: Very clean.  This side would grade as EX.  SIDE 2: Clean other than some scratches in the deadwax that turn 
                             into light scratches / scuffs and drift into the last half of the last track. Sides 3 & 4: Both show multiple light scratches and scuffs.  
Original Picture Sleeves: Both sleeves are in good condition with some ringwear.  One of the sleeves has a small (2-inch) split along the side. I have placed the records in plain white sleeves, to preserve the original picture sleeves.

None of the discs have deep scratches that would cause any skips.  These discs look lovingly listened to. *** PLEASE NOTE RECORDS ARE DUSTY HOWEVER, AND MAY NEED A WIPE.  I WILL LEAVE THAT TO THE BUYER.



There is a notch cut in the upper-left corner of the cover. Gold promo stamp on back of cover. Record labels read: "PROMOTIONAL COPY NOT FOR SALE"

Two Different 'Audiophile' stickers exist - Round and Oval (this one). 
Cat# 60812-1 given on the labels, on the inner-sleeves and on the sticker.  Cat# 9 60812-1 given on the spine.

VERY GOOD (VG):  Minimal light scratches, scuffing and wear, however will not effect playing of record.
GOOD (G):   Visible light scratches, scuffing wear and minor warps which will not result in record skipping but may result in minor surface noise, crackling and groove wear.
POOR (P):        Record will not play through without skipping, major scratches, scuffing or badly warped.
