Description
Here I have to offer my spare copy of this 4 LP vinyl box set on limited GREEN vinyl
Limited quantity of 1,000 units worldwide and available only from the US on mail order from the metallica club and becausesoundmatters.com, these sets were all gone in a matter of minutes. They weren't cheap to purchase, at around $100 a set including shipping ( NB as it came from the US an Customs clearance/VAT was an extra £25), BUT it is worth it for the superior listening experience offered by the premium quality audiophile vinyl. It's also just a great collectors item - I have never played mine as I have it on black vinyl already
As I said, I have this set on black vinyl which I have played and the sound really is very impressive - if you haven't heard this on 45rpm vinyl I highly recommend it. The great thing about this set is the 9 songs are pretty much given their own playing side over the 4 LPs - just like you would get on a 12" single. This really enhances the quality of sound
All original packaging has been retained, even the shrink wrap which I will slide back over the set before shipping
Postage to UK only will be £12 for registered/insured delivery (at cost only). I use the highest quality packing materials to ensure everything reaches you in A1 condition
Overseas bidders if interested please contact me first, as shipping rates will vary and it is likely this will be expensive due to the siza and weight of the set

"If every record sounded half as good as the 45rpm four-LP box of Metallica's fourth studio album...hi-fi systems would still be as popular as MP3 devices. An eight-times platinum album and musical benchmark that's now infinitely bettered, this the kind of release that has the potential to demonstrate audiophile merits on a wide scale. While the production has always been flogged for overall dryness and percussive static, such concerns prove unfounded here. Save for relatively indistinctive bass, every facet of Lars Ulrich's drum kit to the amount of pressure applied to guitar strings is heard and felt. Instrumental images are lifelike. Depth and physicality create 3D soundscapes. Titanic."
