Description

Released in 1986, Metallica’s third album is not only the most celebrated record not only in the band’s storied early catalogue, but arguably the entire thrash metal genre. Streamlining the formula which proved so successful on its predecessor, Ride the Lightning, the record houses a wealth of classics, with Battery, Master of Puppets and Welcome Home (Sanitarium) remaining live staples to this day.


This limited edition super deluxe box set features three LPs, 10 CDs, a cassette and two DVDs, as well as a 108-page hardcover book. Housed within this lavish package is a wealth of live material, interviews, demos, rough mixes and MTV appearances, together with a lithograph, a folder with handwritten lyrics, and a set of six buttons.
