This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL 1984 U.S. MEGAFORCE RECORDS LP WITH SHRINKWRAP titled 'Ride The Lightning', the second LP from now legendary thrashers Metallica. It is Megaforce Records catalog number MRI 769, silver labels, with the original black and white custom inner sleeve with song lyrics and photos. This LP features original bass player Cliff Burton. Tracks: Fight Fire With Fire, Ride The Lightning, For Whom The Bells Toll, Fade To Black, Trapped Under Ice, Escape, Creeping Death, The Call Of Ktulu . Condition of record is a real nice high VG++ with a very few very light surface marks which are only visible under strong light, cannot be felt, and do not affect play. Condition of cover is conservatively a mid VG+ with the original shrinkwrap torn but still surrounding the cover, and with the only real flaws being a few small wrinkles and some wear along the open edge and on and near the corners on the open edge. Cover has no splits, tears, writing, or stickers. This original first issue Megaforce LP would be an essential cornerstone addition to any Metallica or thrash metal record collection!
