Description
Chicago Transit Authority, first 2lp release by the group, and this is the Mobile Fidelity Original Master Recording, audiophile press, MFSL 2-128. Made in Japan on high quality and extremely quiet vinyl, this is the best pressing of this lp EVER! Some of Terry Kath's finest guitar work, too.
Tunes are: Introduction, Does Anybody Really Know What Time it is, Beginnings, Questions 67 & 68, Listen, Poem 58, Free Form Guitar, South California Purples, I'm a Man, Prologue: August 29, 1968, Someday(August 29,1968) and Liberation
Chicago is better known for their ballads, but this lp rocks. If you haven't heard South California Purples, you're in for a treat.
Mint minus condition throughout. Some slight edge wear, and I mean slight, and there's not a thing wrong with the vinyl, but it's not sealed so it's not mint. This is a gem. The cover image is a merged scan. The variation in the yellow on top is the scanner, not the lp.
Paypal preferred, money orders O.K. Buyer pays ACTUAL shipping, no hidden costs or handling fees. I'll send an invoice at auction's end when the winning zip code is known. Thanks for looking and good luck!
