Vinyl grading:
M Mint (like new, looks Unplayed!)
NM Near Mint (very clean, barely a mark) VG++ Excellent (some very light scuffs or hairlines)
VG+ With ample scuffs and hairlines
Cover Grading:
NM Cover shows no seam splits, no ringwear, barely any or no edge wear.
NM- Same as NM but may have 1 or 2 small imperfections which are not significant
VG++ Perhaps a neatly taped seam split or two, or some creases, or some light ringwear or a combination of these
VG+ Often strong signs of ringwear, or several seam splits, or large very noticeable creases, or stains or a combination of these
VG An unappealing cover in many ways but the rareness of the album or the high quality of the vinyl makes the album still worthwhile to the listener
