This is a super rare

Test Pressing

of the 

half speed mastered Mobile Fidelity

 LP titled

"Bill Evans & Tony Bennett"

(Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs MFSL 1-117) (1984)

(Stamper A2 / B1)

This was a title that is hard to find a s standard Mobile Fidelity pressing, but a test pressing of this title is almost impossible to find.

This is a great sounding and really fun album that Stephane Grappelli dedicated to his old Hot Club partner Django Reinhart.

There were literally only a handful of these made (probably 5-10).

The record is beautiful with a bright and shinney lustre. There is a single scratch on side two that starts out at the label and tapers off as it gets to the last two tracks. There is some very light dust type surface noise at those tracks. Nothing major. There are no spindle marks on the labels.  The original inner sleeve is included. It has been professionally cleaned on a VPI 17 record cleaning machine.
