Description
The 1979 Audiophile vinyl release that put Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab on the map. Despite all the different remastered, anniversary, "new & improved", and remixed versions that have come out in the last 45 years, it is this 1st MFSL release of 'Dark Side of The Moon' that is still considered by many audiophiles as the most balanced, detailed, and clearest sounding version. Some even prefer it to the more elaborate UHQR pressing which Mobile Fidelity also released around the same time.
Cover: Near Mint....kept in it's original loose baggy for decades. 1st vers. with non-italicized lettering at top of jacket.
Record: Near Mint......wonderful shine to both sides....labels are perfect. Played less than a handful of times from new...I am the original owner. It would be hard to find a cleaner copy unless sealed....and then at what price?
