MFSL Steely Dan KATY LIED Original Master Recording audiophile vinyl LP. Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab for ABC Records. MFSL 1-007. Pressed in Japan.
IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ - CONDITION: Visual & play tested condition: VG+/VG. The vinyl looks better than it plays, very shiny & glossy with some wear visible when held under a bright light. A lot of this LP plays VG+, but there are some tracks that are VG for some clicks and/or surface noise. Full disclosure - At first, when I recently play tested this record, I heard two skips on Side 2 - a little bit into "Everyone's Gone to the Movies" (track 1) and at the beginning of "Chain Lightning" (track 3). I then cleaned the record and played it again and didn't hear the skips anymore, but I did of course hear some clicks/surface noise in those spots. In any case, since I am disclosing all of this re the play testing results (and your playback will depend on your turntable & stylus) - please note that there are no returns on this LP.
The jacket is VG for some wear at the front center bottom and a 2" seam split at the upper right corner at the jacket opening side. Please see the photos. This copy also comes with the MFSL cardboard protective sleeve and yellow notice form.
