You are bidding on TEN LP records from of a set of 11 issued by the legendary Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs of the Rolling Stones first ten albums pressed on High Definition 'Super Vinyl' by Victor Company of Japan and mastered from the original tapes. This is a rare audiophile collection of only 10,000 pressings acquired by me from a company employee in Chatsworth, California before the label went out of business. All the covers have been 'notched' on all three sides as shown. Each LP has it plastic static-free inner sleeve and the cardboard insert sleeves. Due to age some of the glue on a couple of sleeves has come apart. There is surface wear and dust on some covers acquired from rack storage for over 26 years. Please note this offer does not include the special edition box, the catalogue of covers, the balancing CD or other materials from the boxed set (which regularly sells elsewhere for £600-1000 depending on condition).
The records themselves are mint condition and each LP is unplayed (or was played once for taping) though they were stored with other albums over the years and it is the lack of space and a wish to see these excellent records properly appreciated that prompts their sale.

I jealously guard my excellent eBay rating so please read this listing before bidding as there is nothing to hide about their condition and I offer this information to the best of my knowledge.
If you don't know about MFSL recordings; Wikipedia says:
Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (MFSL or MoFi) is a company known as an innovator in the production of audiophile-qualitysound recordings. All releases are advertised as being produced from the first-generation analog master recordings, and using proprietary technology, which MFSL claims allows for improved sound quality. MFSL has produced LP,[1] CD, DVDand cassette tape releases. Each title is licensed from the original record company as a limited edition item. It is manufactured and sold only within a specific period of time.
From its beginning in 1977 MFSL gained a reputation for emphasizing quality at all points in the sound duplication and manufacturing process. At this time MFSL was nearly unique in the record industry by offering a premium quality product at a premium price. Simultaneously, most large record labels were forced to lower costs and reduce quality standards. The decline in quality at the major labels was brought on by uncertain economic conditions and high inflation, declining record sales and increasing vinyl costs. In 1977 most major labels were using relatively poor quality disc mastering and duplication methods and had begun pressing their product on thin and often recycled vinyl. These low cost methods led to an unnecessary increase in surface noise and other audio distortions. Early MFSL titles were pressed by JVC in Japan on virgin 180 gram "SuperVinyl" LP discs. JVC originally developed this proprietary plastic compound in the early 1970s to reduce record wear on discreet 4-channel quadraphonic LP records. Supervinyl is a harder and more durable plastic than is normally used for LP records. The pressings exhibit a very low amount of surface noise, pops, clicks or other defects.
