Description
Album is new and remains sealed and then some. If you look at the pictures you can see the original store price sticker (Amoeba in SF) along with the anti-theft device laid on the rear jacket. What the store did was tape this anti theft device down along with essentially taping over the majority of the shrink. If you look at the pictures you can see the almost mechanical application of the tape in a cross pattern and along the opening seam, which must have been standard practice in this store; they really didn't want their albums being stolen. Truth be told this does detract a bit from the overall presentation however if you don't go out of your way to look for this tape you sort of see right through it. Plus if the album goes into a frame where it belongs this certainly won't be an issue. This tape along with a bump on the right bottom corner and a 19mm crease running up from the rear bottom seam which I attempted to capture is driving the excellent sleeve grading. This all having been said, the album has been priced accordingly.
As a bit of clarification following an event with an errant buyer, a sealed original pressing is worth significantly more than one which has been opened and based on that fact this album cannot be returned if opened for any reason. Of course this album will be shipped with full insurance and if the item is damaged in transit I will be able to issue a refund. If there is any damage to the item incurred during shipping please let me know upon your receipt (and please take pictures of the damage to the mailer) so I can begin the claim process with the USPS. And please do not open the album. I'm certain as a collector reading this, you understand the disclaimer in this circumstance.
Album will be mailed between cardboard and bubble wrap in a reinforced Whiplash cardboard mailer. If you have any other questions please let me know and thanks for looking!
