Description

This Michael Chapman - Wrecked Again stereo album (SHVL 798) on the Yellow Harvest Records label is a first pressing on 150gm vinyl with SHVL 798 A 1U/SHVL 798 B 1U matrix numbers. The label is the rare original format with no EMI logo and ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd’ text on the rims.

The disc itself still has a very high gloss. There is minimal spindle marking on the labels and no hole wear. There are only one or two light paper marks. I would grade the vinyl as near mint. (Please see photographs for a better idea of record quality.)

The original UK patented paper inner sleeve is in good condition.

The non laminated gold gatefold sleeve (Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd) is in excellent condition with slight ringwear on the rear. There is virtually no wear to the edges and corners. The spine is in good condition but unusually there is no text.

I bought the album from new and it has been kept upright in a custom built cupboard away from light and damp in virtually dust free conditions since then. It had minimal playings when new and has been unplayed since - apart from the check I carried out recently prior to listing it on Ebay.

This is a fabulous hard to find album from a greatly underestimated performer. All tracks play exceptionally well and the sound quality is excellent.

The LP will be sent in a strong brown LP mailer with stiffener. Additional packaging and tracking will be used for overseas mail.

For greater detail I am happy to email the original photos if required.
