Description
This is my EX / EX copy of this beautifull and hard to find UK JAZZ LP, a superb coming together by Michael Garrick & Norma Winstone, the opening and closing in one day of a Lotus flower being used to convey the path of a love affair through to it's sad end. The front laminated / white card rear sleeve is in great general shape, clean and tidy, with a fully readable spine. There are a couple of tiny laminate creases near the record opening and one from the bottom of the sleeve at the opening end and about an inch of wear on the spine near the top where the cover image touches the spine. Please see the close up picture. The rear white card sleeve is generally clean and tidy but has some light 'browning' at the top and bottom, most probably from shelf wear rather than handling! I have provided a picture of both top and bottom. On the top l/h corner is what I assume is the origunal owners name in neat pen (as a signature) and the date 1971. Again please see the picture provided. The disc / yellow Argo labels are clean and the record plays really well with no jumps or clicks. The vinyl is shiny and 'new' looking. There are a couple of very light surface marks from handling and play, but these do not effect the sound. I'm afraid the original inner bag had gone when I put this record into my collection. A nice, EX / EX copy of this rare UK Jazz LP.
