Description
MICHAEL GARRICK TRIO
MOONSCAPE
TRUNK JBH022LP
STILL SEALED!
Very limited reissue from 2007 on the legendary Trunk label of a highly sought-after jazz album!
A wonderful opportunity to own this recording without having to find and then spend £1,000+ on one of the original 99 copies!
The trio on this album comprises of Michael Garrick with drummer Colin Barnes and Dave Green on bass. The recordings were originally made in 1964
and, unfortunately, no masters for the album exist. As a result, the music on this record has been taken from one of the '60s 10" copies. Although it has been
sonically cleaned up, as far as is possible, there may be some slight imperfections. Not really surprising, bearing in mind the source album was over 40 years old!
Sleeve: A great close-up image of the lunar landscape on the front, with sleeve notes from Jonny Trunk and Michael Garrick on the reverse.
Still in the original Trunk factory shrinkwrap! No splits, tears or other wear. A very small bump to the top-right corner mentioned for accuracy.
Side 1: 1. Moonscape, 2. Music For Shattering Supermarkets, 3. Sketches Of Israel
Side 2: 1. A Face In The Crowd, 2. Man, Have You Ever Heard, 3. Take-Off
All titles written by Michael Garrick.
This is just one item from my own extensive and eclectic personal collection of music and related bits and pieces which I will be listing over the next few months, or so.
I have been collecting for more than 30 years, so check back regularly to see what other gems I may have unearthed - they won't be listed in any particular order! My
recent absence from eBay has been because of work commitments but, as that seems to have dried up, I will be spending more time disposing of my collection!
I am not a dealer, so won't use traditional grading terms but, instead, will describe each item as carefully and honestly as I can with text and photos. Bidders are then free
to form their own opinions. Any apparent marks showing in the photos are reflections or dust, etc., unless otherwise specifically identified. If in doubt, please contact me
with any queries before bidding and I will get back to you promptly with an answer. I will also keep you informed throughout the whole ebay process.
All vinyl will be packaged in sturdy cardboard mailers with at least one stiffener and will be despatched within 2 working days of payment being received. PayPal is preferred,
but please contact me before bidding to discuss alternative, acceptable methods. Postage rates: UK - 2nd Class £2.60, Europe/R.O.T.W - AirMail Small Packet £6.50/£11.40.
Please note that I do not combine postage. All items are packaged and sent individually, so as to minimise damage and/or loss.
Thanks for looking and Happy Bidding!
