Description
A great opportunity to buy a copy of a VINYL LP from the 1970's by Michael Hurley called "Hi Fi Snock Uptown."
Michael Hurley is an American singer / guitarist who plays piano and fiddle. This was his third album and due to his friend Jesse Colin Young of the Youngbloods, he secured a contract with Warner Brothers records. ( I also have two Youngbloods LP's listed for auction, finishing shortly after this one).
This is a U.S.A. PROMOTION pressing released in 1972 and issued on the Raccoon / Warner Bros. label (BS 2625)(stereo). It has a total of 14 tracks (see photos for track listing).
The matrix numbers are:- BS-2645-A 40186-1A (side one) and BS-2645-B 40187-1B (side two).
The vinyl is in a lovely clean and shiny MINT condition. I always grade and examine records under a bright table lamp and there are a few very faint surface marks evident, which possibly may be transit scuffs caused by the inner sleeve. There are no spindle marks on the labels, so it may have never been played before. I have played certain tracks and the sound is superb.
The labels are completely clean and free from any writing, marks or major defects.
The record is housed within a plain inner sleeve in an EXCELLENT condition.
The unlaminated picture cover is in an EXCELLENT condition. The edges and spine are very strong and the text is clearly readable on the spine. There is a Youngbloods sticker on the front top corner (see photo). It still has its original shrink wrapping on. Also included as an insert is a publicity sheet (see photo) also in EXCELLENT condition.
Please feel free to bid, but winning bidders please pay promptly. Payment by PayPal is much prefered.
