Description

Gold Foil Promo

What is special about promo issues?

Answer:  (1) They are the first copies pressed and sent to the radio stations and record stores so they have to be special.  (2) They are usually pressed on the best vinyl which includes virgin audiophile vinyl (hold the record up to a strong light and if you can see light through it then it is virgin vinyl).  Virgin vinyl is the quietest vinyl played on a turntable. This is why collectors seek Near Mint and Mint promo pressings.
