Description
This is a US 1981 repress copy of Michael Jackson - Got To Be There, his first solo album originally released in 1972. Includes classic early MJ hits including Rockin' Robin, Ain't No Sunshine plus the title track.
Released on the Motown label M5-130V1
The record has been ultrasonically cleaned and has come up sparkling clean and very shiny with a couple of faint paper scuffs which do not affect playback. Clean labels and spindle holes - graded EX.
Playtest was a joy! Cut loud & very dynamic with bold and forward sound. Great stereo separation. You can't help but start singing, this is great uplifting pop from Motown's golden age! The vinyl plays through beautifully with no jumping or sticking- some occasional low crackle/noise audible between tracks, typical of vinyl of this vintage.
The outer sleeve is very clean, smooth & solid overall with vibrant print colours retained. Lovely sharp readable spine. Some wear to lower corner near opening plus a deletion clip to the opening ( see photos) No writing, stains, splits, tape or tears.
The original pop quiz inner sleeve is present & still doing a great job. We have added an anti static liner to keep the record pristine after cleaning - you will receive this also.
A super copy and a rare find in this condition, fully cleaned & tested, ready to pop straight onto your turntable & get singing & dancing...!
