Pressing features: True 1st Original US Press, 1982, Stereo, Gatefold - Excellent Copy 

Genuine 1st pressing: The "misprint error" on Michael Jackson's Thriller refers to the first pressings of the 1982 vinyl album, which listed only Quincy Jones as the producer on the back cover, omitting Michael Jackson's credit as co-producer. This error was corrected on subsequent pressings, making the original versions rare. 

Vinyl Record grade: Strong VG++ (almost Near Mint-), record is in outstanding condition with a deep, high-gloss, mirror-like shine. Surfaces are beautifully clean and play with clarity—just shy of Near Mint. A top-quality copy that sounds fantastic.

Cover/Jacket grade: VG++, oringinal cover is fully intact with vibrant color, no splits or writing on jacket, strong spine, edges are sharp. Super light shelf wear.

Greater numbers and severty of scratches. Pronounced play wear. Visabily used.

Pervasive imperfections of varying degrees including both light scratches and scratches deep enough to be felt. Severe scrathes.

Appears unplayed and will bear no marks, sleeve scuffs, or scratches. This is grade seldom used. Must be in original plastic shrink wrap.

VG++

Sleeve may have a small sticker or bit of writing but looks great.  Minimal ring wear. May have one or two visible imperfections (i.e. sleeve scuffs or slightly worn edges)

VG+

A few visible imperfections. These may include sleeve scuffs, light scratches, or other superficial marks.

VG

 Acceptable cover but may have drill hole or cut corner. May have a minor split side (1-3 inches), large sticker, or prominent ring wear. Corners are more rough. 

G+

Pervasive imperfections. Obvious wear and tear.  Minor to major flaws including sticker rash, major doodles or other distracting writing, major ring wear, soft spine, or major, total split seem.
