MICHAEL J.BIRTHELMER “Zanzibar” Rare Canadian Private AOR Rock lp M-
1980/Canada/Zanzibar Records ……. here’s a rare original Canadian Private pressing AOR Rock lp. The cover is in clean VG+ condition with light corner wear and spotty seam wear, light shelf/ring wear, otherwise the cover is solid and clean with no splits or delete. The vinyl is in clean strong VG+ to VG++ condition with an edge warp and some light storage stains/blemishes, handful of super light inaudible sleeve lines and light grit scratches. The record plays fine but has light crackle/ticks at cue and between tracks and also at the beginning of side two some low level crackle and between second and third songs and some parts there is light crackle/ticks. Overall the record sounds nice with no groove wear, skips, sticks or other problems and the warp had no effect on play when I used my Rega 3 or Linn lp12. The labels are clean with no spindle marks. Includes the lyric inner sleeve which has some light creases but is free of tears and splits. Please check my auctions for other prog, rock and psych lp’s. Good luck and thanks for looking!

GRADING
MINT: I consider only New Unplayed or Sealed items.
M- or Mint Minus, very clean with clean visual appearance and sound, there may be a couple of light inaudible hairline scuffs or such and will be mentioned in the listing, a Mint- record looks and plays clean. Same for the cover. Very clean with no delete or other issues.
EXCELLENT: still very collectable for most, visually and sonicly clean. A handful of light inaudible scuffs, or hairlines. Cover will be clean with little wear, or delete. No splits.
VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal wear, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have a few minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much. Cover will have slight shelf wear, and or delete, minor split.
VG+ the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects.
