Description

Artist: Michael Rabin (violin) / Brooks Smith (piano)
Album Title: Mosaics, Volume 2
Label: EMI Testament / Captiol
Cover Condition:  NM (Click on the magnifying glass for a larger image.)
Vinyl Condition:  NM (Bought sealed, played once.)
Description: Unpublished “Lost Capitol tapes” with Heifetz’s pianist Brooks Smith on piano. Due to commerical pressure, this was from the last time Rabin stepped into a recording studio. However, Capitol decided not to publish these recordings at the time, prefering him to record a 2nd “Magic Bow” due to it’s commercial success. In 2012, Capitol open up their vaults and finally released these amazaing recordings; a triumph for fans of Michael Rabin and the Violin around the world.
THIS IS AN ORIGINAL, NOT A REISSUE/REPRESS.
All photos and soundclips are taken from the actual record on auction! No editing or other tricks used.
