Artist: Michael Rabin / Paganini (14 years old) Debut record.
Michael Rabin (May 2, 1936 – January 19, 1972) was an American violinist. He has been described as "one of the most talented and tragic violin virtuoso of his generation". His complete Paganini "24 Caprices" for solo violin 1958 is considered by many to be the most impressive recording of this work, and the recording itself is notable for the full tone captured by the audio engineers. (See my other Rabin auctions).
