Description
This is a beautiful example of an original U.S. thick heavy vinyl stereo lp on CAPITOL rainbow label #SP-8534, with oval logo on left of spindle hole, title is: MICHAEL RABIN PAGANINI CONCERTO NO. 1 IN D MAJOR, and WIENIAWSKI CONCERTO NO.2 IN D MINOR, with THE PHILHARMONIA ORCHESTRA conducted by SIR EUGENE GOOSSENS.stamped in trail off is side one: SP1-8534-D18. side two: SP2-8534-D16. Labels are pristine, No spindle marks, stains, stickers, writing, spindle hole wear, fading, etc, playing surfaces have a deep mirror gloss shine, No scratches, groove wear, defects, warps, etc, only under very close inspection and bright light did I see just some faint surface scuffs and a few very minor sleeve stains that do not affect play. I played a few excerpts from each side, they sounded clean and clear with No distortion, skips, or annoying background noise.I heard only a few soft background ticks Cover is made of thick cardboard front has beautiful shiny lamination, on back are very extensive liner notes by SHIRLEY FLEMING, cover only has one tiny top right corner seam split, rest of the top seam is strong, spine also clean and strong with nice print, bottom seam strong. There are No bent corners, punch holes, cut corners, saw cuts, rivets, etc. Also No stickers, writing, fading, or stains, just has very light wear and a hint of browning. Capitol inner sleeve in very good condition. Glad I could make it available with a low minimum bid. CONDITION: COVER VG + + / LP VG + +.
