Condizioni : la copertina, laminata su ambedue i lati, mostra una lieve usura sul bordo superiore e sull'angolo inferiore destro; grande stato, NEAR MINT / il vinile ha pochi segnetti minori che non condizionano per niente l'ottimale ascolto. Sul primo lato dell'etichetta sono visibili 4, 5 mini macchiette bianche, si osservi per cortesia, la scansione n° 3; grande stato, EX+ 

Condition : laminated cover on both sides shows a slight wear on the top edge and the bottom right corner, NEAR MINT / vinyl has a few minor scuffs which do not affect at all listening. On the first side of the label you can see 4, 5 mini white flecks, please look at the scan # 3, EX+

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie il controllo viene effettuato sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i dischi in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati, i 33 giri su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1 mentre gli EP e i singoli a 45 giri con un Thorens TD 166 BC fornito di una testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All records in auction have been fully heard. Lps on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge, EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : due partiture per film, ciascuna su un lato dell'album, con caratteristiche diverse. L'Héritier contiene ottima musica rock con venature psichedeliche in alcuni casi, ben costruita con soluzioni che rivelano per la loro originalità la bella personalità artistica del compositore di Lione. Non a caso aveva già collaborato sia con Pierre Henry che con Serge Gainsbourg. Nel primo lato l'ottima chitarra di Claude Engel nel tema d'apertura (a1), l'atmosfera psichedelica in "Rêve " (a2), l'impeto del talentuoso batterista Jean Schulteiss ben assecondato dalla chitarra in "L'usine" (a3), le tastiere di Colombier e il basso di Jannick Top in "L'Héritier (part 2)"(a6) non possono che lasciare un'impressione positiva all'ascoltatore. Il secondo lato contiene la musica per il film "Angela" o, con il titolo originale Spagnolo, "Tarot". Qui troviamo due componenti principali. Da una parte una buona dose di musica sperimentale e dall'altra la cantautrice Americana Nanette Workman con "Tarot" interpretata in Inglese per tre volte con alcune variazioni l'una dall'altra (b1, b3, b5). Questa canzone è caratterizzata da un'alternanza di passagi dolci e violenti con un'impostazione vocale non troppo lontana dalla musica soul. "Incantation" (b2) inizia con un potente giro di basso seguito da percussioni insistenti e dalle sonorità anche solenni delle tastiere. "Hotel Lutetia" (b4) è un tema lento con alcune peculiarità di musica sperimentale. 

Notes : two film scores, each on one side of the album, with different characteristics. L'Héritier contains excellent rock music with a little of psychedelic veins, from well constructed music solutions which show for their originality the beautiful artistic personality of the composer from Lyons. Not by chance he had already collaborated with both Pierre Henry and Serge Gainsbourg. In the first side the excellent guitar by Claude Engel in the opening theme (a1), the psychedelic atmosphere in "Rêve" (a2), the vehemence of the well-gifted drummer Jean Schulteiss magnificently supported by the guitar in "L'usine" (a3), Colombier's keyboards and Jannick Top's bass in "The Héritier (part 2)" (a6), are able to give necessarily a positive feeling to the listener. The second side includes the music for the film "Angela" or, with the original Spanish title, "Tarot". Here we find two main components. On the one hand a good dose of experimental music and on the other side the American singer-songwriter Nanette Workman with "Tarot" sung in English three times with some variations from each other (b1, b3, b5). This song is characterized by an alternation of sweet and violent passages with a vocal timbre not too far from the soul music. "Incantation" (b2) starts with a powerful bassline followed by insistent percussion and by keyboards even with solemn sonorities. "Hotel Lutetia" (b4) is a slow theme with some peculiarities of experimental music.
