Condizioni : la rivista che include il flexi-disc misura circa 20 x 20 cm, ha 16 pagine in carta lucida e nessuna scritta o taglio, con Obi in perfetto stato, NEAR MINT  / flexy-disc di color rosso ha fin dall'origine una qualità sonora non eccezionale. Sono pertanto avvertibili alcuni fruscii e clicks oltre a un modesto rumore di fondo sulla prima traccia della facciata A: bello stato, VG+

Conditions :  16-page  glossy magazine including a flexi disc or sonosheet measures approximately 20 x 20 cms and does not show any writing and/or tears, obi is in great shape, NEAR MINT / red flexy disc has as usual a low sound quality from factory and therefore affects play with some hissing and clicking in addition to a moderate surface noise on the first track of side one, strong VG+    

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a turntable Rega Planar 3 with a moving magnet cartridge Grado Statement 1. I listen EPs and singles 45  rpm. on a turntable Thorens TD 166 BC with a MM cartridge Goldring 1006. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : le registrazioni sono da masters originali Barclay Francia. La rivista " Asahi Sonorama " uscita in Giappone il 24 Agosto 1963 contiene un gran numero di foto in bianco e nero o virate in verde o in seppia e tre articoli in lingua Giapponese. Il primo riguarda Alain Delon : " Un ragazzo che spera di diventare famoso ", poi " Un uomo affascinante : Jean Gabin " e per ultimo la trama del film sotto il titolo " Melodia sotterranea ". Traduzione per la cortesia di un amico Giapponese.

Musiche e direzione d'orchestra di Michel Magne. " Palm Beach " è un formidabile brano jazz con ottimi assoli di pianoforte e l'insistente riff del basso intervallato da tipiche atmosfere da film noir; ancora del bel jazz in " Hold Up " con inserti sonori carichi di tensione. Atmosfera serena con cori in " Hymne à l' Argent ", " Déconfiture " è caratterizzato da un tema musicale ricco di suspense. 

Notes : recordings from original Barclay masters. "Asahi Sonorama" magazine, issued in August 24, 1963, features several pictures in b/w or sepia and green tones and three articles in Japanese. The first concerns Alain Delon : " A boy who hopes to become famous ", then " A fascinating man : Jean Gabin " and finally the film summary titled " Subterranean Melody ". Music and orchestra Michel Magne. " Palm Beach " is a stunning jazz tune with excellent piano solos and insistent bass riff, alternated by typical film noir atmospheres, some good jazz again in " Hold Up " with the addition of tense sonorities.  " Hymne à l' Argent " is a serene theme underlined by the chorus while " Déconfiture " is characterized by suspenseful atmospheres.
