Description

EXTREMELY RARE ORIGINAL 1957 FRENCH ODEON 7" EP

An exceptionally scarce French cello recital featuring Micheline-Albert Bloch, accompanied by pianist Marius-François Gaillard, performing six rarely recorded works by Jacques Offenbach.

To the best of my knowledge, only one other copy has previously been sold on eBay. It achieved a final price of $385, highlighting the exceptional rarity and strong collector interest in this release.

CONDITION

Record: VG+ visually / VG playback

Retains a glossy appearance with light surface marks. Fully play-tested: a few clicks occur at the beginning of Side B; otherwise, it plays well with only light background sound typical of a 1950s pressing.

Sleeve: VG

The original picture sleeve remains well preserved overall, with moderate age-related wear, archive stickers and handwritten annotations. Please see all photos.

SHIPPING

The record will be removed from the sleeve and placed in a separate inner sleeve to prevent seam splits or sleeve damage during transit.

Will be professionally packed between thick cardboard, ensuring maximum protection.
