 On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Mick Stevens called "No Savage Word" and is an ORIGINAL 1975 UK 1st Pressing on the PRIVATELY PRESSED 1st Press Deroy label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS WITHOUT ANY DOUBT MICK STEVENS RAREST & MOST SOUGHT AFTER LP EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  THIS LP WAS ONLY PRESSED IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS - AND ACCORDING TO MANY RELIABLE SOURCES NO MORE THAN 50 COPIES WERE EVER MADE!!!!  AND AS FAR AS I KNOW - NO OTHER 100% GENIUNE 1ST PRESSING HAS EVER COME UP FOR SALE BEFORE, AND THE CHANCES OF EVERY SEEING ANOTHER ONE ARE VIRTUALLY ZERO!!!!  THIS PARTICULAR LP CAME FROM ONE OF THE BIGGEST FOLK COLLECTORS EVER, AND I ONLY MANAGED TO ACQUIRE THIS LP BECAUSE AMAZINGLY HE HAS 2 COPIES (THE OTHER ONE HE WILL NEVER SELL!)!!!!  BEING A SUPREME FOLLOWER OF FOLK MUSIC IN THE 1970s (AND BEFORE), ONCE HE HEARD OF THIS LPs FORTHCOMING PRESSING - HE BOUGHT 2 COPIES STRAIGHT AWAY!!!!  HE HAD PREVIOUSLY BOUGHT MICK STEVENS FIRST LP 'SEE THE MORNING' BACK IN 1972 - HE COULDNT WAIT TO GET THIS ONE!!!!  AND LIKE MOST OF THE LPs IN HIS COLLECTION - THIS LP WAS LEFT VIRTUALLY UNTOUCHED SINCE IT WAS BOUGHT, AND IT HAS SO CLEARLY ONLY EVER BEEN PLAYED 2/3 TIMES SINCE NEW!!!!  AND LIKE MANY LPs ON THE DEROY LABEL - IT CAME IN A PLAIN WHITE COVER (WITH NO ARTWORK) AND A SMALL 'HAND TYPED' STICKER ON THE TOP RIGHT CORNER OF THE COVER FRONT.  HE THEN NEATLY ADDED THE DATE HE RECIEVED THE LP UNDER THIS - AND CAREFULLY FILED IT AWAY!!!!  INTERESTINGLY THIS PARTICULAR LP MUST HAVE BEEN A 'TEST PRESSING' - AS THE LABELS CAME TO HIM ENCLOSED IN A SMALL 'POLYTHENE BAG' INSIDE THE COVER!!!!  THOUGH OF COURSE, AS ONLY 50 COPIES WERE EVER MADE, IT IS MORE THAN LIKELY THAT MOST WERE SUPPLIED LIKE THIS FROM NEW!!!!  THE ONE PREVIOUS OWNER DIDNT RELISH CHALLENGE OF PUTTING THE LABELS ON HIMSELF - SO HE CAREFULLY KEPT THEM INSIDE THE COVER!!!!  AND APART FROM SOME MINOR 'RUFFLING', THE LABELS ARE PRISTINE WITH NO CREASING, AND NO GLUEMARKS OR SPINDLE TRACES - CLEARLY SHOWING THAT THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN SEPARATE TO THIS RECORD!!!!  THERE IS ALSO (AS MENTIONED) NO ARTWORK ON THE COVER FRONT - AND THIS IS EXACTLY HOW THIS LP WAS SUPPOSED TO BE!!!!  99% OF MICK STEVENS PREVIOUS LP 'SEE THE MORNING' ALSO CAME IN A PLAIN WHITE COVER, WITH ONLY 2/3 COPIES WITH A HAND DRAWN DESIGN (REPUTEDLY BY MICK STEVENS HIMSELF) - SO WHETHER THE SAME CAN BE SAID FOR THIS LP REMAINS TO BE SEEN - AS NO COPIES WITH ARTWORK HAVE EVER SURFACED!!!!  AND THE FACT IS, THAT 99% OF ALL OF THE 50 COPIES ORIGINALLY PRESSED, WOULD HAVE BEEN SUPPLIED IN A PLAIN WHITE COVER LIKE THIS ONE!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THE MUSIC ON THIS LP IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING - WITH A STUNNING 'CROSS-OVER' BETWEEN FOLK (WITH PSYCH TINGES) & PROG, WITH SOME VERY INTERESTING EFFECTS, AND AWESOME GUITAR WORK!!!!  WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT MAKES THIS LP SO RARE AND DESIRABLE!!!!  BECAUSE, UNLIKE MANY 'PRIVATE PRESSINGS', NOT ONLY IS THIS LP OF THE UTMOST RARITY - BUT THE MUSIC IS OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY TOO!!!!  AND BECAUSE, MICK STEVENS ACTUALLY HAD HIS OWN STUDIO (IN HIS BEDROOM NO LESS!) THE MUSIC HAS CRYSTAL CLEAR PRODUCTION & PRESSING (UNLIKE MANY PRIVATE PRESSINGS - WHICH HAVE TERRIBLE SOUND QUALITY!)!!!!  ONLY 50 COPIES WERE EVER MADE OF THIS AMAZING PRIVATE PRESSING - AND IT IS WITHOUT ANY DOUBT ONE OF THE RAREST & MOST SOUGHT AFTER FOLK/PROG LPs EVER!!!!  THIS IS WITHOUT ANY DOUBT ONE OF THE RAREST LPs YOU WILL EVER SEE - AND ONE OF THE ALL TIME FOLK PROG RARITIES!!!!  SO DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT PASSING ON THIS INCREDIBLE LP - BECAUSE THE CHANCES OF EVER FINDING ANOTHER ONE ARE VIRTUALLY ZERO!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT CONDITION AND HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1975 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS DEROY LABEL, 1ST PRESS A/B MATRIXES, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, 1ST PRESS LABELS, AND 1ST PRESS PLAIN COVER (WITH 'HAND TYPED' STICKER!)!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Deroy UK 1st Pressing from 1975 and is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The matrixes are DER 1299 A & DER 1299 B (with 'EG' etchings to both run offs) and the Cat. No is DER 1299 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Deroy label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!

The 'Separate' record labels are EXACTLY as pictured & described above (see trext above for full details).  The Plain White record labels (on the record!) are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 MEGA light hairlines, NO scufflines, only 2 NON sounding ULTRA light surface traces, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!!  It plays with NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The 1st Press Plain Cover (with 'Hand-Typed' Sticker) is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), barely ANY creases AT ALL (cover is VERY flat looking!), barely ANY grubbyness AT ALL (virtually NONE!), NO yellowing, only 2 TINY brown 'age traces', NO sticker marks, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the back of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO rubbing, NO ringwear, and NO writing!!!!  The only thing to mention is a completely INVISIBLE piece of clear tape (NOT 'sellotape!) on the VERY bottom edge - though this is completely IMPOSSIBLE to see, and I am VERY certain that 99 out of 100 people wouldnt even notice it - let alone mention it!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO  DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
