MIKE ABSALOM – MIKE ABSALOM, ULTRA RARE LP on the Vertigo Swirl label, Catalogue No 636053 – 1ST Pressing with the Large Vertigo Swirl Label design, year 1971. The vinyl is visually in (Good) condition, and has noticeable surface marks with light scratches and plays through fine with some noticeable surface noise and some clicks (Here and There) The record plays through from start to finish without any jumps of sticks. There is the slightest hint of a warp which does not affect play. The Vertigo Swirl label is clean and has the Large Swirl design with Production Credit by “Patrick Campbell-Lyons” of UK Nirvana fame. The delicate non-laminated iconic Foldout Poster Triple Gatefold Sleeve depicting pictures of London’s Notting Hill area is in (VG) condition and has some small creases and wear around the edges, with corner scuffs. The spine has a couple of small seam splits half way along and at the top. The sleeve is nice and clean without any writing etc. There are some remaining sticker marks on the plain back of the sleeve. Comes with Vertigo Swirl inner dust sleeve, in which the swirl has faded slightly and has a number written in ink. This is becoming an extremely Mega Rare and difficult Album to find.
PLEASE NOTE: I HAVE TRIED TO DESCRIBE THIS ITEM HONESTLY, THE VINYL IS NOT IN THE BEST OF CONDITION AND PLAYS THROUGH WITH NOTICEABLE SURFACE NOISE & SOME CLICKS, HOWEVER THE RECORD DOES NOT STICK OR JUMP, AND THE INTRICATE SLEEVE IS VERY PRESENTABLE.
