MIKE CLIFFORD I'm Afraid To Say I Love You 1959 TEEN 45

OK, BACK TO SOME GOOD 45s OF VARIOUS MUSICAL STYLES FOR A WEEK OR TWO - This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL 1959 U.S. Liberty Records 'teen' 45 RPM record in its original stock Liberty Records company sleeve containing the tunes titled 'I'm Afraid To Say I Love You'/'I Don't Know Why', the first and earliest release from teen balladeer Mike Clifford, later of 'Close To Cathy' fame in 1962.   It is Liberty Records catalog number F-55219, and is a GUARANTEED 1959 ORIGINAL, NOT A 'REPRO' REPRODUCTION AND NOT A 1970s ERA 'COLLECTORS PRESSING'!! - THIS 45 CAME FROM A COLLECTION OF ABOUT 200 45S I RECENTLY PURCHASED FROM A WOMAN WHO WORKED AT THE RCA PRESSING PLANT IN NEW YORK CITY DURING THE LATE 1950S AND VERY EARLY 1960S.  ALL OF THE RECORDS IN THAT COLLECTION WERE ORIGINAL PRESS ROCK AND POP RECORDS THAT WERE RELEASED DURING THE SAME TIME PERIOD.   This 45 appears to be a RARE ITEM which has not been offered on eBay either at auction or at fixed price sale during the past month as far as I can tell.  'I Don't Know Why (I Love You Like I Do)' is the old standard that was also a hit for Linda Scott.    This record is in real nice shape - Condition of record is conservatively a VG++/NM- with all original gloss and just one or two very small and light surface marks which only show up only under strong light, and none of which can be felt or affect play.  Record plays through nicely with a tiny bit of light surface noise.  Labels have a little bit of contact wear as can be seen in my accompanying image, no other real flaws worth mentioning.  This 45 would make a choice addition to any 'teen' rock-n-roll record collection! Winning bidder pays $3.00 first class mail postage or actual priority mail postage within the U.S. I WILL SHIP WORLDWIDE - First class international airmail postage to the UK or anyplace in Europe is $7.50, Canada $4.00 - Please e-mail me for postage rates to other areas outside the U.S. WINNING BIDDER PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH - IT PROBABLY WILL NOT GET HERE! I will give an immediate refund (less shipping) upon return of the 45 if winning bidder is dissatisfied for any reason. Good luck!
