This LP was bought in the final sale of a local records store. It wasn't played before.

Maybe this is the most scarce album of the Uruguayan well reputed keyboardist, composer & arranger Mike Dogliotti.

Musically this record shows a combination of a powerful rhythmic basis performed by a string of tamboriles which are the main instruments applied to the Afro-Uruguayan sounds and Dogliotti’s great keyboards job.

There has been a clever selection of tracks that includes fine examples of Uruguayan popular classics, including 3 songs composed by Ruben Rada.

Dogliotti’s job in this record is just as magnificent as it is in all his recordings and the rhythmic basis reaches really wild moments.

It's undoubtedly one of the best samples of contemporary Afro-Uruguayan music.
