UK 1st 1973 WHITE VIRGIN LABEL Pressing LP  - IN THE SUPER RARE LAMINATED SLEEVE

An outstanding 'ARCHIVED' example of this very collectable classic LP. Very rare to see this on the mbryonic version of the virgin label..most copies pressed on the coloured version.

THE VINYL   EX+  

As you can see, this vinyl is the highly prized 1st WHITE VIRGIN LABEL pressing with the EARLY -3 MATRIX.

Obviously this LP sold by the million, and finding a decent copy, more so on this first label, is nigh on impossible.,.also to find one in the laminated first sleeve too..

well...here we have a superb copy.

This very early 1973 pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We rarely see copies of this LP at all, let alone like this.

The centre hole shows some tiny light spindle skate lines, & the holes remain tight with no wear.

The LP has had some play as you would imagine, but it is still in stunning clean condition..a couple of little pops and static along the way in a few places only, and we were quite amazed at how super clean this LP played...nothing to spoil the enjoyment..and asides from the light static lead in on the opening grooves and the few little pops in  a few places the record is prety much faultless..

THE LABELS   MINT    Both are superb condition, original matt labels with no damage or writing

THE SLEEVE     MINT-   RARE LAMINATED SLEEVE 

Correct LAMINATED  first issued earliest sleeve  -with square spine. Later presses were unlaminated

This whole sleeve is in SUPERB condition with very little signs of wear 

The edges are all super clean with no traces of rub, the tips have the tiniest rub, all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition

The lamination is gleaming like a mirror and there is no bubbling  down the edge -Just a couple of little spider lines over the edges. The open edge remains in immaculate sharp condition with barely a hint of handling

The spine edge is totally unmarked and all legends are perfectly readable, just a couple of tiny spider lines over the edge

The lamination really is in stunning shape, and there is  barely a hint of any ring press!

WE CLARIFY BY SAYING, THIS SLEEVE IS SIMPLY OUTSTANDING QUALITY.
