MIKE WARREN & SURVIVAL KIT – “Please Yourself First” (1978) Dobre-1055 original pressing EX/M- (cover/record)

Killer funky electric jazz fusion by guitarist Mike Warren on this obscure, sought-after label that released Elliot Fisher and Les Demerle. The band includes Dave Parlato on bass, John Perett on drums, Tom Ranier on keys and synth, and Ken Park on multi-percussion. This one has Warren’s great “Scotch Break” in three forms across the record, plus multiple others like “Prince Valium,” “Project 1,” “Devrha,” “Colours,” etc. Really great. One of the rarest on the label!

This is an original pressing. The cover has only light ring wear along with a promo sticker on the front. The vinyl looks unplayed –beautiful and glossy. Conservative grading: EX/M- (cover/record).

Winner pays postage. Domestic U.S. shipping is $4 media rate or $10 for priority mail (insurance additional and quoted at cost). International first class shipping (7-10 day delivery) varies by postal zone. Please see the listing for specific costs.

I package all LPs securely in record mailers and remove the vinyl from the covers to prevent seam splits during mailing. I do not just stick your record in a priority mailer box from the post office or between two thin pieces of cardboard with no additional packaging materials like so many others!!!
