Description

A great opportunity to buy a VINYL LP from the 70's by Mike Westbrook Orchestra called "Mike Westbrook's Metropolis". This is an ORIGINAL copy of the 1971 LP.

This is a U.K. pressing released in 1971 on the RCA Neon label (NE 10)(stereo). It has a total of 9 parts (tracks) (see photos for track titles).

The matrix numbers are:- AGBS 0688 - 1E (side 1) and AGBS 0689 - 2E (side 2).

The vinyl is in a lovely clean and shiny NEAR-MINT condition. I always examine and grade records under a bright table lamp and there is very little to indicate it has ever been played before. I have played both sides and they play fine and sound great.

The labels are clean and free from any writing, marks or defects.

The record is perfectly flat and has no warps of any description.

The record is housed within an original black poly-lined inner sleeve in a VERY GOOD condition, with just some minor creasing at the corners, where the record has been stored inside the cover.

The unlaminated gatefold picture cover is in an EXCELLENT condition. The edges and spine are very strong and the text on the spine is clearly visible (see photos). There is very little to report on the front cover, apart from some minor storage wear along the bottom edge (see photo) and corners. Inside the gatefold, both sides are clean and undamaged. On the rear cover, there is light ring-wear noticeable close to the bottom (see photo), but this should not detract from the overall quality of this 41 year old cover.

The pictures shown are of the actual item.
