Description

Here's a fairly rare record album from MIKE and THE KEY FOLK titled I KNOW WHERE I'M GOING. This is an original private pressing released on the Nor-Vel Music label, NVM 9002.

A portion of the back cover notes reads:
"I'm happy to present to you this group of vivacious youth singing the gospel in contemporary style. Mike Hanford, got his start in non-Christian coffee houses of Chicago. Having been changed by Christ, Mike came to Northwest College in Kirkland, Washington. While there he formed a folk singing group consisting of youth from various denominations including a former hippie from Haight-Ashbury. This group began to present Jesus, not religion, in Seattle's first Christian Coffee House called "The Key", henceforth their name The Key Folk...."

Tracks include:

  • A Better Life
  • You Can Tell The World
  • Holy Ballad
  • Let Me Fly
  • Well, Well, Well
  • Sinnerman
  • Leaves
  • I Know Where I'm Going
  • Come With Me
  • Kum Bah Yah
  • Amazing Grace

A short review and the ability to listen to the title track is available at this Internet address: http://blog.wfmu.org/freeform/2010/01/blogpost-4.html

Cover has bumped corners, edge scuffs, and some overall rubbing. The vinyl has paper scuffs and quite a few light scratches. It plays fine with some light surface noise. Record is in VERY GOOD (VG) condition.
