Mikey Dread started out as an engineer with the Jamaica Broadcasting Corporation, and it was during that time that some of the most acclaimed reggae was being recorded. He was enthused and inspired by what he heard so he managed to talk his bosses into giving him his own radio show called Dread At The Controls and the rest is history. Here you can listen to plenty of his finest tunes complete with the radio announcements and shout outs before most tracks. It's a thoroughly futuristic dub record even now and is one of the finest of its era with many different micro-styles and scenes found within its blissed out riddims.
